Professional Training

Subject matter includes an in-depth study of harmony (scales and chords), along with it's rhythmic application. Stylistic approach is of the student's choice, i.e., jazz, blues, rock, country, funk, heavy metal, acoustic, classical, etc.

By emphasizing both vocabulary and repertoire, students learn to apply harmonic and rhythmic concepts in context through proper execution of guitar techniques. Additionally, the option to read and write music notation is highly encouraged.

Professional equipment can also be covered in private lessons. This includes proper use of guitar FX, cables, amps, live sound, equipment, and proper care/maintenance of your instrument.

Instruction is tailored to each student's needs.
